Add a true "Mil-Spec" MIL-C-5040 Type III parachute cord "paracord". Seven strand inner core with a break strength rating of 550 lbs. Each handguard, personally woven by me, contains up to 18 continuous feet of 550 paracord that can be unwoven in an emergency to be used a shock cord to set up an emergency shelter, to lash together TeePee rods, secure your knife to a stick to use as a spear or use the 7 inner strands for fishing line or game snares.
Can be added to any fixed blade knufe with pre-drilled handles i.e. Landi Bush Shiv, SOG Jungle Primitive, SOG Jungle Canopy, SOG Jungle Warrior or the SOG-Fari Machete.
For retro-fit orders (not woven to the handle myself) I will supply simple and specific directions on how to attach it to your handle.
